1967
La Tatone fiori srl was founded by Saverio Tatone, a craftsman who researched the traditions and customs of his homeland. In 1967, Tatone Fiori began selling flowers for wedding favors, later also launching artisanal production.
His professionalism quickly led him to industrialize his workshop, which, in addition to flowers, also produced acetate boxes for wedding favor packaging. With the help of his wife Angela, who dedicated herself to managing the workshop, which was experiencing an ever-increasing demand for goods, Saverio was able to travel throughout southern Italy for deliveries. This allowed him to study the increasingly demanding market trends of a society experiencing an economic boom. As time passed and the market developed, the workshop became a major emporium for decorative materials.
1987
As the years passed, the three children grew up, and Saverio, with the support of his eldest son, Giuseppe, embarked on his first trip to the Orient in the spring of 1987, heading to Greater China. There, he contacted artisans and industries in the sector and designed and built prototypes for import.
In the following years, he continued his increasingly frequent travels to the Orient, establishing partnerships in several countries: China, the Philippines, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, India, and Sri Lanka.
The company established significant trade relations with North African and Mediterranean countries in general.
1989
The technical need for optimal logistics led to the relocation of the facility to Baricentro in Casamassima, a newly established wholesale shopping center (1989).
The center's opening expanded the range of products across diverse product sectors, from wedding favors to furnishings, to a catalog of 30,000 items. The company's development over the years has been supported by the assistance and technical consultancy of Europe's top decorating masters, who have focused on trends in decoration and fashion.
TODAY
Lorenzo, the family's second-born, completed high school and studied floral art and decoration at renowned Italian schools for four years, earning various specializations.
After Italy, Lorenzo left for Switzerland to train as a floral designer, studying and practicing for five years, culminating in an exam and receiving a prestigious diploma. The company, which also saw the arrival of the Tatones' third daughter, Genni, now boasts a full staff of 30 people.
A comprehensive logistics structure makes the company a national benchmark in the decoration market.
Tatone Fiori srl is today a very young company given the age of its members, highly active in materials research, very attentive to the market, and inextricably linked to trends and its customers.
